Matsuura MC 510 VG:

Thanks to its features as rigidity, accuracy and ease of operation, the MC-510-VG offers good levels of productivity. Thanks to its integrally configured automatic pallet changer it is cost effective and efficient. The bed and column castings incorporate heavy ribbing for maximum rigidity. Rectangular section column guideways provides support for the head stock.

Depending on the specific machining requirements, both the MC-510-VG and RA-IG can be configured with a high speed motor which extends the speed range to 15,000 rpm.

For heavier duty machining applications such as when machining cast steel or forgings for the automotive sector the standard 10/74 hp motor offers a low end torque capability of 35 lb-ft while still offering a wide speed range of 60 - 8000 rpm.

When the additional benefits of higher speed machining are needed, such as when machining thin walls and small cavities or when superior surface finishes are required, then Matsuura's high speed spindle retains a useful low end torque of 9.7 lb-ft. Visit Matsuura's website to find out more.
